Condor Sighting

I did want to mention that on my trip to the Pinnacles, I did see a California Condor. I just saw it briefly ... mmm ... so there are no pictures.

    This is my second ... because I saw one in the Grand Canyon when I was there.

    This one was close -- we heard it's wings in the wind.

    Cool Jonah -- I understand that the Pinnacles and Los Padres National Forest are good areas for sightings.

    According to this there are currently 72 in California and 16 in Baja. They have a considerable range so - you might be able to spot one during your regular travels.

    Apparently there's a nest site in Big Sur and there's info everywhere.
