I Could ...

... buy one of these Surly's and make it into a mountain bike. I think I will. I'll need a small one. And a single speed Phil Wood hub. Umm, and I think I need some rims. And spokes then. And stuff. And more stuff. That should make me feel better.

Shawn, if you wanna pay for my LBS to pack up my Redline and ship it to you.....I'll sell it to you for 250 bucks. I'm not sure what they'd charge to pack and ship it, but I can check if you're interested....

Here's a picture of the bike....

I am selling it for 2 reasons, I bought a new camera and my knees can't take the punishment:-(

Wouldn't this be your first mountain bike?

A singlespeed rigid 29er, eh?

Very bold. Nice.

My boyfriend just bought a KM. He's putting a Reba Shock on it and gears, but he's very excited about his purchase.

I still like squishy mountain bikes, but if I were to ever go off the deep end and decide I needed two summer mountain bikes, a SS KM would definitely be next.

Oh - lemme see ... yep -- my first ever mountain bike. Gosh -- This implies that I might actually ride in some dirt. I haven't decided on a shock or not, but initially I am thinking not.

It will be cool. My train riding, bike riding buddies will be very jealous. I think I may build the wheels myself and make it really my bike. I can always build it up with gears and a shock later
