I know -- I told you before that it was back, but -- now -- I have made some repairs. This image is from Death Valley National Park.

Most of it works now. If you've never seen it there's an occasionally good shot out there -- take a look around.

For the techy geeks -- I quit trying to use an Apache server with PHP, and went bck to the oh so totally awesome tclhttpd server. It took me about 20 minutes to get up and running -- and fix the little bit of brokeness that I introduced trying to make it work with Apache.

Outstanding image. Lovely!

Hey, how was traffic on the Peninsula this morning? I suspect a lot of people probably drove across the Hwy 92 bridge that normally would take the Bay Bridge. Probably will be worse tonight since it's that right hand turn to 880 that's gone.

I really have no idea. The train was more crowded than usual.

I can see the freeway if I look out the window of the train, but only briefly. I imagine the evenings are going to be nasty for a while.

It shouldn't have too much impact on me though.

Train from San Jose to Palo Alto was jam packed this morning. The train started at Tamien, and when I boarded at Diridon Station the bike car was full. I got on at the second bike car.

It's going to be a bit rough for a while. There were more people on the train with bikes today.

I wouldn't have thought that it would have that much impact so far south. The route to the city must be bad from 92 North on 101.
