It was with absolute and complete amazement that I found myself still intact and on my bike, just a split second after noticing a vehicle bumber just inches from me and approaching quickly. I've never been so close to being hit.
Then I got a flat during dinner at my mother's. And another on the way home. I think I may need to walk for a few days.

Glad you made it through the day in one piece.

Thanks, Lauren. And Jonah.
DID I mention that it scared the bejeezus outta me. Gadzooks! Some guy on the train asking me if I was going to the cemetary there in San Mateo -- and me saying -- "No, I don't think I am ready to go there just yet."
Did I mention tha I have been hit twice before on a bike. Once when I was 5 -- and once when I was about 18.
Phew! Glad you're still in one, unbruised piece.
I too, love the labels. Eegads! Gadzooks! Bloody hell! Oh wait, that last one isn't there.
For some reason, I always forget to do the labels. Whoops.
