I have no idea why I would ever get sweet pickles on a sandwich, but I did. Who ever thought of that? It seems that pickles really aren't all that good anymore; they just don't tast like they used to when my grandmother made them, or when you would find a barrel full of them in the local hardware store. I would eat one of those. Really. Even the best pickles these days are somewhat disappointing.
The state of pickles isn't quite what it used to be. Some things aren't quite as good as they used to be.
I am pretty sure I am not going to be disappointed in having bought one of these. I can't wait for it to get here.

Congrats! You're going to love it. We've got one hanging out in the garage, but unfortunately it's not mine.
How are you going to build it up?
Well, the first crack at it is going to be a stripping of the giant Cypress LX I swapped my commuter for. It will leave me needing a headset and seatpost, plus maybe a bottom bracket, while providing cantelever brakes, rear derailer, crankset and wheels.
eventually I'll set it up as a flip flop coaster, with meaty tires and, oh ... go jump cabs with it.
When I lived in a house with a yard I used to grow my own cukes, dill, garlic, and other stuff and make my own pickles. I don't know if it's your style but I made cucumber pickles with hot peppers that would knock your socks off - not with the heat but with the outstanding flavor.
It's been a while but I've also made my own kimchee that's pretty good, if you don't mind my saying so.
Down in the South Bay we have Mitsuwa, a Japanese grocery store. They have pickled veggies with samples to taste if you want some interesting varieties to try. Other Asian marts probably have similar deals.
Be sure to post photos of your Karate Monkey when you get it!
My sister dated a guy once named Bruce Pickle...we often teased her that if she'd married him, her name would be Pam Pickle, ha!! (I digress...sorry...the thought just skipped across my mind!!) :))
