Beef Stew with Dumplings

That could be remedied with some seitan. Yum.

Seitan? That's nuts! :) Seriously, it looks kind of gross but I bet it was tasty! I love how dumplings turn into broth sponges!

I wrote the recipe down as I made it. My mother says it's the Betty Crocker recipe from the book she gave my brother about a half a million years ago. I'll post it here, as soon as I get the notes back from my mother's.

It has about a lb. and a half of beef in it. Carrots, onions, and bell peppers. And a truckload of butter. If you're a vegetarian, maybe this won't be a good choice -- especially if you're a vegan.


It's quite tasty -- but I have to tell you that I ... seitan ... spoils my appetite.
