This was the second night on the Colorado River. 2005:09:16 16:37:16. Above the junction of the Little Colorado. I just thought I would post this so that we wouldn't have to change the title of the blog to "Bicycle Propelled Camera."

In the Blue Mountains, a little to the west of Sydney, Australia there are hundreds of canyons. Not nearly as big as ye olde Colorado River, we just don’t have the water and countless eons have levelled most of the country flat. But they are deep, intricate living things, created slowly over the kind of time that has seen other continents come and go. One of my favourite is claustral. It is simply magnificent.
